On June 13, 2024, Ms. Bronia Yip, Chairlady of the Hong Kong Jewelry Manufacturers' Association (HKJMA), and Ms. Vicki Tin, Manager of J-HUB, visited the Gem and Jewelry Institute of Thailand (GIT). GIT representatives Mr. Thanong Leelawatanasuk - Deputy Director (Technical), Mr. Sitthichai Parinyanusorn - Deputy Director (Business), Ms. Thanat Patcharanukulkit, Ms. Pakakorn Nampadon, Ms. Kawinita Krittapassakornrawong, and Ms. Thitima Prasertsoodsiri attended the meeting.

The purpose of this visit was to establish closer cooperation with The Gem and Jewelry Institute of Thailand (GIT). This exchange activity is of great significance for enhancing the cooperation between the jewelry industries of Hong Kong and Thailand. The representatives from both parties introduced their respective organizations during the meeting, both parties showed an open and proactive attitude, discussing the possibilities of cooperation in areas such as jewelry design, education and certification, laying the foundation for future collaboration.
